Education:

RockIT believes we have a responsibility to contribute to the capabilities of tomorrow's workforce. Our education initiatives focus on providing practical benefits for the local schools, these include:

• Job Interview Skills Training – RockIT currently perform a number of in school mock job interviews with local secondary school students to develop their interview skills and prepare them for finding a job;
• Enterprise Talks - We currently perform a number of visits to schools normally during enterprise week to advise and encourage so called Kidpreneurs to set-up and run their own business;
• While access to the internet increases so too does the criminal misuse of the technology. RockIT want to ensure that children can use the internet in safety and aim to provide up to date to advice to parents and children to increase awareness and put a system in place to reduce the threat;
• ‘Giving Something Back’ – As highlighted in Community Sponsorship and Community Scheme.
