I can hear you asking ‘Why RockIT?’. I am the managing director – Rob Dance, and the driving force behind RockIT, and my career path to date ensures that I have never lost contact with the people that matter, my clients, or what I like to call my friends.

I began my career as an advanced support technician and systems analyst for CFL Computer Systems maintaining and developing ICT infrastructure for public sector and blue chip organisations in Wales before deciding to go at it alone in the form of Vale PC Specialists and RockIT. During this time I have achieved a BA-Honours Degree in Information Technology and Business Management and accreditations from the two main bodies for IT professionals in the United Kingdom namely, The British Computer Society as a Chartered IT Professional (CITP) and The PC Association as a Fellow (FPCA).

I think over this period I have been able to develop a keen sense of what makes ICT tick and more importantly what really matters to people as far as ICT is concerned.
